I actually have two social media accounts, one I created for my blog when I started it. It is my creator account, not my personal one, that I am going to focus on today. Since this account is for my Christian lifestyle blog for women, I follow accounts of those who make up the lifestyle niche: food bloggers, travel bloggers, fashion bloggers, etc. But mostly, I follow other Christian women bloggers. I love them all, but here are a few of my favorites.
The Praying Fashionistas
This is one of my favorite accounts, and not just because we share an interest in fashion! What I really like about this account is the content she posts; it is always so uplifting and right on time. Another reason that this is one of my favorite accounts is because, when I was still so new to the scene, she promoted my posts and my blog on her account, encouraging her followers to follow me and followed me herself. I really appreciate her support.
Jeanie Shepard Ministries
The reason I follow Jeanie Shepard Ministries is because Jeanie is an amazing teacher of the Word of God! Every post includes a quick Bible Study lesson that serves as a good reminder for meditating on and for applying to the day ahead. Her messages include both firm warnings and uplifting prayers. Jeanie was also supportive of me starting my blog. This means a lot since she is a Christian blogger, too.
Bloom Creative Ministries
This is one of my favorite accounts because the artwork is amazing. I am inspired by the way she illustrates her faith and shares it with others. I also like how she ties in diversity with illustrations of quotes by Maya Angelou and with illustrations of women of various backgrounds. This is one of my favorite accounts to share to my stories because I know it will uplift and encourage many.
My Darling Diary
I first started following this account when I was shopping for a cross necklace and came across the one that she sells in Shop Darling. I discovered that the cross necklace I purchased from her shop was hand-crafted by a female survivor of human trafficking and that all of the products that she sells supports female trafficking victims by providing them with employment. Additionally, she posts uplifting and whimsical messages of faith on her Instagram account.
Project Inspired
What I like about Project Inspired is that, besides its encouraging posts, it is truly a community in spite of the size of its following. I was almost immediately followed and my comments are regularly liked and responded to. One of my responses was even pinned on one of the posts. The posts are beautiful and not only encourage but instruct, which I appreciate as a teacher who enjoys learning.
I am grateful for all of these sisters, not to mention all of the ones I did not mention here. Each are very encouraging to me in my faith and in my own ministry. I am looking forward to continuing to learn from and with them with each inspiring new post.
Who is your favorite person to follow on social media? Please let me know in the comments.
Until next time! 🙏🏽💕
“…and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25 AMP
How interesting! I tried having multiple accounts but it was too much to keep up with.

I hardly post to my personal Instagram account anymore and when I do, it is repostings from my blog’s account. 😊
