It’s July and with July comes the mother of all sales, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Now you may be wondering why you should care. Nordstrom is a high-end store with high-end brands. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is an opportunity to stock up on quality wardrobe staples and to get quality essentials that are missing from your wardrobe and greatly reduced prices. In this post, I am going to share my favorite finds. And I caution you that if you see something you like or need, do not delay. Items on my wishlist are already sold out by those who have early shopping access! 😩 It opens to the public July 15 and ends on August 4, 2024.
How do you get early access?
You can get early access via the Nordy Club by getting a Nordstrom Card. Your level within Nordy Club is based on the amount you spend each year.
New card members start at Influencer level. The next level up is Ambassador. The top level is Icon. Icons have the earliest access, followed by the Ambassadors, and then the Influencers. All card members have early access, regardless of level, before the sale goes public.
I had an early access pass a couple years ago without a Nordstrom card (pictured). I still don’t know why, but it was a nice perk! Early access began on July 9 and concluded on July 14, 2024.
How to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The sale is massive, so I highly recommend downloading the Nordstrom app so that you can preview the sale and save your favorites in your wishlist. Once the sale begins, you can move your wishlist items to your cart.
Or you can go into your local Nordstrom store to shop in person. If so, I suggest making an appointment with a stylist like I did with my friend, Alaina Griffin. Here we are (pictured) with me in an outfit she put together for me during my quest for summer modest fashion finds. Your stylist can pull items from the sale that you might like to try on. It is a fun experience and totally free to use! You can schedule an appointment online through Nordstrom’s Stylist Services.
The disadvantage to shopping in person is that you will be limited to what that location has in stock. Another option is to search for items first online and check to see if they are available at your local store.
If they are, you can choose to have your item(s) delivered to your local store where you can pick them up for free. While you are there, you can always check out what else is available.
