Styles for Christian women

I really like style, but I find that it is often difficult to find things to wear that are both fashionable and modest. As we learned in the post, I Am a Model, we are to model appearance. Therefore, I have made it my mission to create looks that are both appropriate and fun. I was excited when I somehow discovered that Nordstrom offers free stylist services, so I decided to try it out. I had an upcoming photo shoot for this blog and thought it the perfect opportunity to have some help figuring out what my looks should be.

I booked the appointment and was assigned a stylist. When I arrived for my appointment, she and her assistant had multiple looks prepared and hanging in a dressing room for me.

My appointment was at the Nordstrom at The Grove

That in itself was a treat! I wish I had taken a picture, but I was too excited to try everything on. Speaking of which, I thought the process of trying on clothes was going to be tedious, but it was actually enjoyable. They gave valuable feedback on every outfit, including fit and color. If something did not work, they found a different color or style for me to try on instead. This was my favorite part of the process. I even discovered a brand of jeans that fit me perfectly!

My mission was taken very seriously by my stylist. I wanted to take home all of the items that she and her assistant liked on me, but in the end, I decided to only get the things that I truly needed. It was a really fun experience, however, my one regret was not accessorizing!

I decided that must mean that I get to work with a stylist again…
